About the event
Vievee Francis is an Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at Dartmouth College and a critically acclaimed, award-winning poet. Her latest release The Shared World explores the ideas, ideals, and spaces of Black women in a collection of intimate poetic narratives.
Rachel Eliza Griffiths is a poet, visual artist, and novelist. Her debut novel and latest release Promise follows two Black sisters as they navigate adolescence marked by prejudice and violence during the Civil Rights Movement. Join these two powerhouses for a discussion about their latest works and Black women in literature.
