Join Tiana Clark and Donika Kelly for a conversation that spans love, survival, joy, and the Black experience. Clark’s Scorched Earth takes readers through the borders of ruined and radical love, navigating divorce, the first Black Bachelorette, and the art world with lyrical precision, blending reverence and irreverence in a celebration of queer, Black joy. Kelly’s The Natural Order of Things explores the possibilities of life beyond survival, exploring intimacy, connection, and the reparative power of relationships with people, animals, and the natural world.
