We are thrilled to announce that Torch Literary Arts is the recipient of a Spring 2023 Equity in Verse grant from the Poetry Foundation! These vital unrestricted funds will help Torch grow and continue to amplify, support, and pay Black women writers.
During this grant cycle, The Poetry Foundation awarded 55 nonprofit organizations over $1,600,000 in funding to increase access to poetry and support poets through providing publications, educational activities, festivals, writing workshops, residencies, and more.
